E.A.R.T.H.

Book Signing and Lecture
I was at the June meeting of the Electronic Archaeological Recovery Treasure Hunters (EARTH) Club of Central New York and what a fantastic time I had. This large group of treasure hunters had all their treasure on display. I was amazed at the dedication and passion this club had for the search for lost artifacts. You can visit their website at www.geocities.com/tominrom/index.html . The president, Stu Copperwheat found the coolest thing ever - an inaugural pin from George Washington! It's been valued at thousands of dollars. Stu now owns a piece of history. Stu and the treasurer Dave Lofgren greeted me as I told stories of the lost gold of the Loomis Gang. It's the plot of my book Daisy Daring. I want to thank the members of EARTH for hosting me and treating me to their passion.

Noir Detective Novel
I seem to be all over the place with my writing but I have settled on working on a detective novel. I'm shooting for a hard boiled piece of fiction. I have the first version done but much revision has to be made. All I'll say is it takes place in Utica, NY in the 50's! I'm going to have a lot of fun with this book.

Rob Thrasher - Writer - Computer Whiz - TechnoGenius
Ultra-techno wiz Rob Thrasher is not only a talented technical writer, he's my friend and brother-in-law. Congrats to Rob for his second place finish in the Zeromillion.com "Featured Author Contest." This was a nationwide writing contest. I'm not savvy with technology but Rob has been nationally recognized for his brilliance with computer thingies. He's working on computer words and phrases and clauses. Sorry, but I'm a total spaz when it comes to technobabble. Check Rob's stuff out on www.cybervillage.com/blob/ or www.activesoftware.com and finally www.business-tech-systems.com .
